Professor Funmi Olonisakin, Vice-President and Vice-Principal International and Professor of Security, Leadership and Development at King’s College, London in the United Kingdom.

Theme

“Retrospecting to prospect: Que Vadis Africa?”

The aim of the lecture is to discuss and distil some strategic and tactical conclusions from a variety of developments that currently define the status of the African continent. Among the challenges confronting our continent are questions relating to the quality of our leadership, the worsening in security and development, and the lack of a clear strategic vision and voice regarding Africa’s place

in the world.
